- Plant-based company QmilQ launches plant-based quinoa milk.
- Canadian company Phytokana has launched a new fava bean protein product, F70 LVC. This fava bean protein exhibits high and stable solubility at a variety of pH values, as well as excellent emulsification and gelling properties. In addition, F70 LVC is less bitter and astringent than other fava bean proteins on the market.
- Califia Farms recently launched a new product: Complete Kids Plant-Based Milk. Its protein source comes from peas, chickpeas, and fava beans.
- Recently, Simply Protein launched a new protein-rich cornflakes. This new product is a restaurant-style tortilla chip with key ingredients including corn, pea protein, and sunflower oil.

The Plant Protein Research Progress
- Recently, Chinese researchers used different extraction methods to extract proteins from bamboo shoots. Studies have shown that the protein content of bamboo shoots is comparable to that of fresh milk.
- The research and development team at the Japanese company Sodick has developed a new plant-based meat product. This product is made from wheat proteins and can be cut and cooked right away without the need for complicated pre-processing steps.
- Food production machinery manufacturer Clextral has released an innovative technology, Galaxy Texturation Technology. This technology produces products with a texture that perfectly mimics that of real meat or fish, with a production capacity of up to 400 kg per hour.
